Leave a gift in your will to LLR Mind
A gift in your will is a powerful way to help shape the future of mental health support across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. After you have taken care of the people closest to you, even a small gift to LLR Mind can make a lasting difference for people who are struggling with their mental health.
Why leave a gift to LLR Mind?
Mental health can affect any of us, at any time. By remembering LLR Mind in your will, you can help local people now and in the future to feel heard, supported and less alone. Your legacy can have a lasting impact.
Your loved ones come first
Making a will is an important way to look after the people and causes you care about. We believe your family, friends and loved ones should always come first. Once you have provided for them, LLR Mind will greatly appreciate any gift, big or small.
Types of wills
There are three types of wills that people tend to leave to charities:
- Fixed cash gift (Pecuniary Gift)– this is a fixed sum of money (for example, £250).
- Percentage gift (Residuary gift) – this is a proportion of your remaining estate after all other gifts have been paid out (for example. 5%).
- Specific gift – this is an object or asset for example a piece of antique or artwork.
We would recommend that you have a will written by a solicitor or professional will-writing service. This helps prevent any future legal issues.
